Mouthwatering Recipe for Delicious Hamburger Dip

Whether you're looking for a fun dinner idea or a healthier snack for weekend football, this recipe will have everyone smiling.


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Ground Beef

  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper Diced

  • 1/2 small Onion Diced

  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning (0r make your own recipe at bottom)

  • 1/4 cup Water

  • 1 cup Salsa

  • 8 ounces Blended Cottage Cheese (or try dairy free Miyoko's brand)

  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese (dairy free available)


Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef with diced red bell pepper and onion. Drain grease.

  • Add taco seasoning, water, salsa and hot sauce to the beef mixture and simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.

  • Blend cottage cheese in a blender or food processor until the mixture is smooth.

  • Add cottage cheese and the Monterey Jack. Stir until everything is mixed well. Transfer dip to an 8- or 9-inch baking dish and add the remainder of the cheese to the top of the dip.

  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

  • Serve immediately with Siete tortilla chips and top with avocado and cilantro.


Don't want to use packaged seasoning? Make your own!


  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 2 teaspoon Cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 1/4 teaspoon Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon Oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes or Cayenne Pepper Optional
